Copius Group have an exciting permanent opportunity for a BIM Engineer in the South West of Ireland.
BIM Engineer Role Overview
As a BIM Engineer, you will be integral to our project development and execution. Based in the South West of Ireland, you will collaborate closely with other BIM detailers to deliver state-of-the-art projects.
BIM Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed 2D sheets (fabrication level detail) from models.
Support the creation of multi-discipline models.
Collaborate and coordinate with various trades.
Liaise with the BIM Lead and Site Engineers.
Ensure modeling meets the standards outlined in the BEP documentation.
Create and maintain BIM families.
Conduct clash tests in Navisworks and generate reports.
Maintain documents to the relevant BEP standards.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of MEP and Structural services.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
This role offers exposure to diverse expertise across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, construction, and more. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills, with responsibilities evolving over time.
BIM Engineer Skills and Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in BIM software packages such as: BIM 360, SolidWorks Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD
Production experience in design, drafting, or engineering.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is desirable.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
